Walks for Women is a unique local Cumbrian business specialising in affordable guided walks exclusively for women of all ages and abilities in the English Lake District National Park, the Eden Valley and the North Pennines.
Walks for Women started in January 2010 and is owned by Sal Cawley an experienced fell and mountain walker. Sal previously worked overseas with VSO and for nearly 20 years in the NHS. She is now really enjoying taking women out fell walking so they can learn new skills and gain confidence in the outdoors.

Walks for Women aims to give you an exciting and challenging time on the fells and mountains or to take you on a more gentle and leisurely walk by the beautiful lakes and along the valleys. The choice is yours.
For women who want to develop their confidence in the outdoors we can support you to get out walking. Whatever your age, ability, disability or experience we will have a walk for you. Specific walks have been developed for women with disabilities and or limited mobility. Please phone/email for details.
All walks are led by one of our friendly knowledgeable female guides. Walking groups are kept small and tailored to individual and group needs and preferences. This ensures you get the best out of your time on the fells and on all of our walks.
